CHANDERI FORT
Canderi Fort (Panvel taluka; 19° 00' N, 73° 10' E; RS. Mumbra 40 m.) on the top of a hill between the hill forts of Malangad and Peb, is in Tamsai village about ten miles north-east of Panvel. The fort which is visible from a distance can be approached by a rough path. Thakurs inhabit the area at the foot of the fort hill.
